Second test event I was in the east stand at the south end, and the view from there of the south stand gave an idea of just how huge it is. My season ticket is in the north west stand and you don’t get the same impression from there of the size of the south stand.
So Im glad I went to the test events.

Part glad I did…scope it out and that, plus I couldn’t wait to see what it was like. Part wish I hadn’t and Sunday was my first game.

I didn't lose my virginity to a proper woman so seeing my first game at BMD at not a proper game is the least of my worries.

First one Sunday since they got the horrendous Manc scab back.

Going for me daughters sake really, first game together at the new place etc, call Moyes a cunt. Swerving again until the odious beaut has gone. If he does great and lasts 10 more years then great for Everton and people who enjoy it but it's just not for me after how he jibbed us and acted afterwards.

No. When I sat in my seat, I looked at the stadia from every possible angle and thought fuck me me I am truly amazed. I thought this stadia is worthy of CL and world cup finals.

I use Google maps to see where everything is before I go on holiday.

My lad and I were at the second event, in the south stand to start with but walked around to find out ST seats in west upper. Absolutely stunning but counted 150 steps going out. Oxygen and defibrillator on order with Amazon.

We had our seats in the East Upper for Roma so know exactly what to expect.

Could do with Escalators to all the upper tier stands! We used the Escalators to get out after the Roma game as we'd walked round to the South Stand for a pint.

did the second test event in march, got tickets for sunday.

sunday is the "big one", but march was great. ive been avidly poring over all the stuff on the new ground for years, saddo that i am.

march was just an opportunity to go and have a proper nosey. it hasnt taken the shine off this sunday, which is totally different.

also, i had no idea if i was going to be able to go to the first league game, so it was well worth going in case.

How can you tell if someone is a Kopite? If the hat, scarf, T shirt or tattoo isn't enough of a clue, they will have told you within two sentences. Basically, it's a cult.

Benn twice, no regrets at all. Dry runs, literally for Sunday. Had a cup of tea with my burger at the Roma game. Had a few beers in town afterwards. Can’t be doing with plastic receptacles.
I suppose I will have to be dragged kicking and screaming into the BMD match going experience. The gang are meeting at Murphy’s prematch, whether I succumb? We’ll see.

I’ve been walking round there a bit as well try and get familiar with walks from Sandhills and the pier head.

I did a test walk from James Street at 25 minutes but that was without thousands of people or a skin full
