It looks like were trying to sign players who can occupy several positions, because we don't have the money to stockpile players of every ilk, like the RS, Chelsea, Manu, Arse etc.

In all seriousness I assume getting a centre back/left back means well be going with Jake O'Brien as starting first choice right back, which if he's happy with that I'm sort of too as I think he's done well enough. Id like a specialist but getting 9-10 players in was always going to be tough and there's be compromises along the way.

Could easily do another 5/6 years as a centre back like.

Think it's a good deal for us. Means right back is kinda sorted with O'brien, and Patterson and Garner at a pinch to cover.
