I'd be starting with Grealish and Barry.

Yes the service was abysmal but don't think Beto had more than five touches.

The need for a decent right winger has ramped up considerably.

Agreed, felt this last year when we were shipping loads of goals he was ok on the ball but miles behind off it. I’m not sure he will ever be good enough but a loan out somewhere is defo needed. As with Chemiti

We got linked with him a few weeks back but some ITK type at ours reckoned there was no truth in that and a deal was being arranged with another club in our division.

I think we need to play JDH centremid instead of behind the forward, and Garner is a bit more disciplined than IGG. Then we can have thw two big dopes up front to cause a bit of chaos

I think Beto will score if chances are created for him. He's not going to create them himself.

I think if Grealish, Ndiye and KDH are told to do that, and the team is actually set up to do that, they can and will do it and he'll score a fair few.

If they can't do that for whatever reason then something is super fucked and it won't matter if it's Beto or anyone else up front.

Ndiaye isn't a creator for other players, for all his fantastic abilities, he can't spot teammates or pick a pass forward to them. More of a head down and run with the ball into the box himself and I reckon with his talents we should be doing everything to allow him to just do that.

I agree with this. He was dogs eggs last night but we know he's shite when asked to play back to goal and that he needs the ball to run onto and we set up almost as if we were wanting him to fail.

Agree that Beto was bad enough to play himself out of the starting 11, even with the general lack of service. I’ve never really rated him and thought DCL was levels above him but I’m stunned at how bad he was last night. No effort, touch or skill - just lumbered about, late for everything and the ball bounced miles off him every time he touched it. The one time he held it up was when he touched it three times with one kick and it fluked to a blue shirt.

If Barry can’t dislodge him then we really are in the shit when it comes to strikers.

The only saving grace is Beto has proven he can slot when it’s put on a plate for him, so we probably need to just pray our attacking midfielders can do that regularly.

I'm Beto's biggest fan, but the no service thing is no excuse for that performance last night.

No running after defenders to harry them, no making runs off defenders into space, getting in the way of his own players when we did have the ball....he was total dogshit and it worries me that Moyes doesn't see enough in Barry to have hooked Beto at half time.

His whole demeanor was 'off' last night. Even his body language looked a disinterested man.

I can't recall him winning a header last night, and I lost count in the first half alone, of the amount of times he let the ball just simply bounce off him to an opponent. He doesn't seem to 'get' the idea of holding the ball up, and bringing others into play. Sometkmes he DOES control it, and then plays it back to where it's come from.

Yes, i know the service wasn't good last night, but surely Beto can make a better fist of things than that horror show.
