Another remnant of the shitty Moshiri era and the ludicrous spending under Koeman/Walsh/Brands/Ancelotti. The club has been run on fumes for the last few years and I struggle to think of Premier League side with that many gaps going into a season. That said, the new leadership team need to have a long hard look at themselves. We will see what happens in the rest of the window but a team with a right back, left back and right winger gets a point out of that at least.
I can understand the budget of PSR that we still have to work inder but doggedly sticking to a target has given what little leverage we had away to other clubs“Football was never the same for me after I left Everton and although I always wanted to win, losing never really seemed to hurt anymore.” Kevin Ratcliffe

Do people genuinely expect Moyes/ the (brand new) recruitment team/ TFG/ combination of all of it, to fix 20 odd years of mismanagement and commercial under achievement to be fixed in one summer?
I’ve read stuff on here which seems to suggest they do. Madness.

Yes!
We wanted total revolution here and now tonight!

We were one of the most in form teams to end last season. We can lose a game still obviously but the performance was absolutely shocking, minnows away to a big club stuff that first half was genuinely embarrassing. Not always into stats etc but even they told the story correct.
It’s was tricky fixture but it was Leeds at the end of the day not Real Madrid.

Yes we just gave them the game first half for no good reason it was a disgrace of a set up and game plan

We were beaten by a newly promoted team at their home.
