Every summer it is the same
“Pre season friendlies do not matter” maybe they do if you’re so shite you lose pretty much every game
“plenty of time to sign players” maybe not if you want to compete in the first few games of the season and avoid playing catch up

Who expected anything other than a disjointed mess when they saw that line-up. Injuries are unlucky. Not having adequate cover IN THE SAME FUCKING POSITIONS WE HAVEN'T HAD ADEQUATE COVER FOR ABOUT FOUR SEASONS really isn't bad luck. It's just stupid.

It’s taking the fans and the league for granted ; it’s signalling again that we work to a 32 game season ; it’s signals that we haven’t improved since the stupid Bournemouth game in America and that we don’t look to have tried to.
That tonight was Moyes and Baines and Irvine just admitting they had no clue what to do with the squad available ; we are miles ahead of Leeds but they were well prepared and earned their penalty decision
We earned nothing ; we probably just about deserved to only lose by one ; we deliberately handed the initiative to them and Tarkowski looked cocky and aloof all night as if playing against them was above him and he paid for it .
