Best thing to come out of there was the Yorkshire Ripper.
They weren't miles better they were geed up by the slavering hordes that follow them plus a shithouse referee, a draw would have been more than fair tonight. They will struggle more than us this season.

When you're missing your first choice and only viable left back, your best centre half, you're still asking a centre half to operate out of position at full back without an able body in front of him, the alarm bells in pre season of Beto looking like he's carrying 4 stone too much, jiggling your central midfielders about to fill in roles all over the pitch, the warning signs have been coming into sharper focus by the day.

So the bookies having Leeds as favourites was justified after all Drex. Hate to say I told you so, but it was always going to be a tough game as disappointed as we all are with the performance. It wasn't a total surprise, we hadn't exactly set pre season alight. These are clues mate. Take your blinkers off and look at it objectively.

There is zero chance I’m ever predicting a loss against Leeds they are fvking gash and will be miles behind us ; we’d have beaten them with a common sense approach ; Moyes is in a nark and has no faith in what he’s got ;

I don’t agree with this, especially in a first weekend context. Was reading somewhere that promoted teams have won about 15 out of the 90+ first matches for promoted teams in the PL era before this season. So it’s a pretty big deal and a huge win for them.

It wasn’t a tough game. They dominated first half and had an xg of 0.4 to our 0.

We made no attempt to do anything other than draw. And we were rightly punished. Loser mentality and “oooh ifs a tough game” is Pure Moyes.

I think we were wrongly punished rather than rightly punished.

But we wasted a half with no attacking intent and then got had off by a farcical decision when we had improve a little bit.

Deserved a bit more but not much more.
