Without my glasses on in the shower, I can't tell which bottle is the shampoo and which one is the conditioner.

Just wash your hair using the bar of soap

Here's a little trick you could use, get two different coloured bottles of shampoo and conditioner. Shampoo could be green and conditioner could be orange for example.

Great tip....although the other little handicap I have, would mean I would struggle each time to remember which colour I had bought was the shampoo and which was the conditioner.
