Wonder if they'll ever follow the model they've now got for home games. Everyone in one big ballot.

Regardless of credits etc.

Might apply for some then. Just not buying second hand ones to keep someone's credits topped up.

Should be able to claim the credit if you buy an away ticket on resale.

Those that have gone to every away match since the year dot are much more entitled to away tickets than I am IMO

That's the problem though - loads haven't gone every away since the year dot. With social media now it's easy to sell on your ticket - so the credit meffs just buy every ticket, even if they have no intention of going.

It's risk free because they know they can just sell it on and still keep full credit history.

The current system means the same 2,500 fans or whatever will have access to all of the away tickets forever. So young blues will never have a chance to watch Everton away unless they buy a ticket off one of the credit meffs.

A % of them should be balloted.

well said that ..I have no problem with lads who've been going every away for years getting a ticket but they mustbe seen to be using that ticket and not selling it on ..

It's fair because as said above, loads of 'away goers' just tout the tickets out. They get the credits. I used to do all the aways when you could just pay on the gate etc. How is it fair that my lad and loads of others who want to start going can never go because a little cartel has them all.
As I said last time, if you follow a band on tour, you aren't automatically given tickets for the next tour.

Some may pass theirs on to mates/sell online FV if they can’t go, but majority of away goers do actually go. It’s also not always been a closed shop even in recent memory with home cup games the credits for some aways would have been low enough for 90% of fans to go an start building some up but the issue is they don’t want to do the midweek/long aways most of the ones moaning I’ve found just want the derby, Utd away, Villa away etc. but as I say if you look enough or make the sacrifice like go down on the day a spare will always pop up.

I think what we have now is the fairest way, even if a minority abuse it. Ballot is the worst I think.

The band comparison just doesn’t work mate. The fact people abuse the system doesn’t mean it should be ripped up. People will still enter ballots and give tickets away if they can’t go.

The current system is fair. Like I said above would you have been happy not having a season ticket this season because you lost on a ballot to someone who has never had a season ticket? No you wouldn’t.

I don't think the current system is fair.

Like I said above personally I think if you buy a ticket and re sell it you should forfeit the credit too.

If you refuse to lose the credit, make the trip.

That would be a fair system I wouldn't have an issue with.

Sound, we will agree to disagree.
I've been all over with Everton since my first away in 1983 and got no 'credit' for it. I'm sure like others we can all say we've been to hundreds of aways. Can we claim that back? Daft but I'm just making the point that it's not all taken into account. The odd away ticket I can get is from someone who has 'been going the aways' for years.

Have they not started away tickets in Google Wallet yet? Once that's universal people with a ticket will either have to go themselves or find a tech way of transferring or more burner phone nonsense.
