Haven’t seen a single second yet and I’m very close to giving away my Leeds ticket to someone who I think wants it more.

I am looking forward to seeing mates and the new ground next weekend though.

Ive been listening to TalkSport all week on my way to/from work (yes I know). It's occurred to me that not only football, but all top level sport has now become a grotesque symptom of Western culture.

Football, Boxing, Darts, Snooker, Rugby, NFL, Racing, F1, you name it, its all overhyped shite, surrounded by overpaid knobheads all desperate to shove their noses in the trough.

A world were kids in first world countries aren't getting 3 decent meals a day and kids in third world countries are getting shot whilst queuing up for their only meal of the month, we are devoting so much of our time and attention to these millionaire, cheating bellends supposedly representing the very best in human sporting endeavour.

I do still follow Everton via the live forum on Toffeeweb, though I never post anything

They are a miserable, moaning bunch for the most part, but they keep me amused

I was actually looking forward to it and was going to make the effort to watch other teams.
That ended after about 25 minutes of whoever was on Sky orgasmically screaming Liverpool players names if they directed the ball vaguely towards goal.
Serves me right for trying to watch a Liverpool game I suppose. Foreign streams without The Shite from now on might help.

I know but I haven't really watched any live football let alone them for a couple of seasons.
Then I realised Martin Tyler had left Sky so I naively thought commentary might be a little different despite the huge drag factor of Carracunt.

Not watching sky coverage is your friend here lod. I just watch Everton and arms length the rest.

Manage to avoid all the horror punditry even on our games cos of only putting the game on just before kick off .

Haven't watched SSN since lockdown.

Same goes for any punditry. Only really watch the live games when we're in deep winter and it's pitch black and raining.

Since 2020 I'm not arsed about any of it. Apart from EFC obviously. And even that is half hearted. Still love actually going the match though.

Pretty much the way I've been mate. I hardly know who plays for which team, let alone who the manager is. Everton is still great, the rest of it is tediously repetitive. I saw an advert with Ronan Kemp hosting a footy show. The final nail for me, TV wise.

Same hear put the our games on around 5 minutes to kick off half time go for a piss make a drink

I watch all of Everton and 2 minute highlight of everyone else off Youtube. It was a lot of fun watching West Hams keeper flop about like Grobelaar after an envelope today and Richie's goal was a belter. The rest is dull.
