To be honest, I blame Everton more for what happened there than I blame Masters. City are proof that if you go toe to toe with these bastards on a legal basis its easy to wrap them up in all sots of red tape and threats of litigation to make sure nothing ever comes of it.

We didn't do that, we thought the best course of action would be to try and work with the EPL to come up with an acceptable solution. Naively believing we would be treated better if we did.

The first thing Moshiri and Co. should have done when the charges came about should have been to get on the blower to City to ask for the contact details of the lawyers and negotiators they have been using and then gone from there.

I'd like to think that should we be in the same position again in the future (and we will), TFG won't be so stupid as to take the same route as before.

The league turned on Everton. We were told that all was ok - transfers were being run by them for approval etc. then the regulator turns up and they need a scapegoat.

Never ever forget that we got fucked over by the league despite the ONLY reason we overspent was the new ground.

This at the same time that utd and Chelsea were getting hilarious wave throughs versus our actual reasons.

Let's have a level playing field before we start navel gazing and blaming ourselves.

We didn't need to allow ourselves to be fhucked over though. Right from the very start we should have taken the 'speak to our lawyers you pricks' attitude that City have.

We got hauled over the coals for not co operating by the commission - even though we did.

We would be in the northwest counties by now if we had took that attitude.

We aren't city. Two rulebooks in play - and we don't get the good one.

The fact we didn’t really have an owner during the whole thing didn’t help. I don’t blame Everton as much as I blame that stupid cunt Moshiri. He was an absolute disaster for us.

To be honest I do think there was a bit of BK involvement in it. Doing things the right way, the Everton way, and hence gullibly sticking our neck in the noose
The fact they announced we were getting hit when his body was barely cold if nothing else shows us they recognised him as a presence
