In the latest edition they have us down to finish 19th.

They being:

Max Rushden - generic presenter with no discernible skills or talent

Barry Glendenning - token drunken Irishman they’ve found in a shop doorway somewhere, as funny as a burning orphanage

Jonathan Liew - bullied at school, never kicked a ball in his life, even Jonathan Agnew called him a cunt

Jordan Jarrett - no idea who this is

Wow, I've listened to the Everton bit of this now.

Nobody else in Europe wanted Jack Grealish

James Rodriguez cost Everton tens of millions of pounds in wages.

Moyes was terrible in his last year at Everton (didn't we finish 6/7 ?) and his last year at West Ham (they finished 9th)

Didn't west ham treat him like shite so maybe that's why footballing powerhouse west ham "only" finished 9th.

Sounds a lot like a typical kopite media agenda to me.

How can you tell if someone is a Kopite? If the hat, scarf, T shirt or tattoo isn't enough of a clue, they will have told you within two sentences. Basically, it's a cult.

We finished 13th on 48 points having only reached 17(?) points by the halfway mark

Even if you don't extrapolate that form over the season (top 8 maybe) and use 13th as a baseline we will have improved our team over last season and far beyond the promoted clubs by the end of the window .

So where are they getting 19th from? I need to see their workings out on this one.

Is it purely because their readership algorithm says a load of Nuneaton based kopites click on links slagging off Everton?

Glendenning is a Sunderland fan which seems to stem from the time of when there was loads of Irish involvment in sunderland when quinn got investment - Means he started supporting them in his 30's i think, which tells you all you need to know.

Well I had a listen to the Everton bit.

When the Jonathan Liew is the one speaking (at least) some sense, you know you're in trouble.

He had us 13th, Rushden one higher.

Glendenning hates Moyes so we could have x11 Lamine Yamal and we'd still be doomed, and the other lad I've never heard of couldn't remember Dwight McNeil's name anyway, despite him being our best player according to him.

Football coverage these days has been dumbed down beyond belief. The pundits they have on are clueless and the people that take any notice of them are even more clueless.
