He had a run of games for us last year and was fucking dreadful.

Chr!st what an awful move for him. That lad has been given diabolical advice. He's always come across really well imho and quite a considered fella, so I've no idea what's gone on with him.

Genuinely though, Leeds aren't currently paying anybody bar Harrison 90k PW. Most are on between 30-60k PW, so I have no idea what length of contract the lad will get. But if he's on around even 80k PW (and I know I'll get pelters for this), I'd see if he was interested in coming back.

I don't think Beto or Barry are guaranteed at all at this min with Moyes. And a team with better wide players like Grealish and whoever we get for the right would be great for DCL.

I know a lot dislike him, but I think this is a real shame. Terrible move to an absolutely toxic fanbase.

Christ they've booed Harrison's every touch during pre-season, a lad who likes wearing metrosexual and flamboyant fashion like DCL will get absolute dogs if they are getting whopped every week.

I dont dislike him, have no ill feelings towards him whatsoever & in fact I hope the rest of his career is injury free

I just dont think he's very good at football which is why I wouldn't want him back here at any age, injuries aside his goalscoring record as an almost 30 year old striker is shocking

He'll have decent games for them and score a few but won't be fit for half the season as per.
We've stepped up from him with players like Grealish and KDH.
Wish him well but happy we're not reliant on him as our main striker any more

Beto cost £25 million so not much difference in price.

He's also 27 and has 8 goals in 30 games for us.

He's clearly our main striker.

I also read somewhere that Barry has had slow starts at previous clubs, so there's that as well.

I'm a big fan of his and never wanted him to go. I thought he got despicable abuse at times simply for who he was.

But let's be clear Leeds' fanbase are one of the worst. He was expecting a step up, not down, and clearly that hasn't panned out but notwithstanding the difficult relationship he had with some of the fans here I think it would have been much better for him if he stayed.

I know he's a Yorkshire lad and maybe being closer to family will help, but Leeds is a toxic fanbase.

We didn’t him leave, we offered him a contract and it had been on the table for most last season. The club wanted to keep him but he didn’t want to stay. It was entirely his decision to leave and it was against the club’s wishes.
