I’m 62 and should know better but his footballing ability and his whole personality have got more excited by a player than for years.
He definitely gives the air of wanting a new start and proving how good he is.

Agreed, but it also gave a bit of an insight into what it must be like in these Cheshire villages. Ran into Wayne Rooney at his local restaurant, saw Pickford at the golf club etc. Imagining Royston Vasey but for North West Premier League millionaire footballers.

He has actually, I'm starting to get excited, mainly by the stuff I've seen online of him being a genuinely nice fella.
