Evening nerds

I’m off to Ullswater with the family this weekend. Looks like it’ll be hot weather. Any recommendations on places to visit/things to do that are dog and child friendly?

Ferry from Glenridding, jump off at Howtown then walk to Pooley Bridge where a pint or two will be waiting, before jumping the ferry back to Glenridding.

Pooley bridge has got two great pubs,they’re dog friendly as well, if you walk over the bridge where the car park is there’s a nice walk the forest but might be a bit much for the kids if like this, but you can get the ferry to aria falls,nice walk for the kids if the weather’s hot.
