Gordon vs Dibling

Considering the fee we got for Gordon is very similar to what Southampton are asking for he doesn't really seem value for the money they are askign for. Is he much better than Gordon was at 19 because by the time we sold him to the toon, i think we were all feeling lucky to have got as much as we did for him, considering he's shite.

Gordon is now a full regular international.

He was never shite. He was just a bit of a tit and some fans decided he was shite because of that.

Injuries permitting, I think he'll outscore every Everton player next season, though I don't know much about this Terry Barry character.

Well that's not good as I don't see Gordon getting into double figures. Not to mention Elanga signing might see Gordon getting fewer minutes as well.

Beto could easily get 10-12, and if Barry proves to be the better of the two then I would expect same or better from him.

I'm writing a lot of last season off, as he was run into the ground before that. Said this summer he's had a proper rest and feels completely different and raring to go, whereas he looked wrecked from day 1 last season. I thought part of it was him having had his head turned.

I think he'll get close to 15 goals. He might have to if we don't have a striker.

That's my gamble, I think your two strikers will share the scoring load.

Are we talking just league goals or all goals? And what happens if there's a serious injury to either?

Goals for the season, however they are scored, in domestic games only.
If 1 player misses 20 games or more through injury we both stick a tenner in the charity pot.
How does that sound?

At 20, Gordon couldn’t get off the bench for Preston who were in the lower half of the Championship with results significantly picking up after he was eventually taken out of the team.
