Signing Baleba from Brighton for best part of £100m.

That’s £300m spent on 4 players despite finishing 15th, not qualifying for Europe and their owner claiming they will run out of cash this year.

...and getting a load of iffy PSR wave throughs.

I don't care that a load of Evertonians blame the club for our recent predicament - the injustices of the PSR rules mean we could field Hitler, Pol Pot and Donald Trump in our midfield and I would still feel we were hard done to.

We never had a level playing field and in hindsight I feel that the league would have found something to hit us with, once they decided it was us.

How can you tell if someone is a Kopite? If the hat, scarf, T shirt or tattoo isn't enough of a clue, they will have told you within two sentences. Basically, it's a cult.

He looks like another from the Caicedo mould, he would transform Utds midfield, precisely the kind of player they don't currently have. Still a lot of money mind, fees have gone stupid again, well in Socialist FC.

Brighton are printing money here. They have a system of playing and buy lads who'll fit into it. This latest one has similar attributes to Caicedo so he slots right in and looks boss. 12 months later United/Chelsea come calling and because they held out for top wedge for the last one, journos proclaim this one will cost the same. And he does.

Fair play to them.
