BMD an accessibility perspective

Getting into the Terrace bar....a breeze
Getting inside the dock wall....piece of piss
Getting into the ground....a doddle
Moving around inside the ground....dead easy
Getting to/from my seat and using the toilet...no problemo
Getting served with ale.....no better or worse than Goodison
Getting out at the end.....nimps
Getting the train at Sandhills....surprisingly easy.

I LOVE our new ground....feels like home already.

Previously we were assured there were lifts/escalators.
We went through the turnstiles.
Where’s the lifts?
Stewards didn’t know.
One said they’re on the other turnstile, but you have to go out but then you can’t get back in.
0/10 for accessibility and related stewards training.

I had to go through a specific accessibility turnstile E14 as opposed to turnstile 14. There was a lift just through the entrance. Did you have a specific turnstile?

No. 2, but if you go left there’s no lift, if you go right there is a lift.
Once you’re in you can’t get to the other one.
All the stewards were clueless about lifts.

Great to hear all went well for you fella. Mine also went well. Got parked up near Sandhills Lane, bit of a hike on crutches to the ground but doable. Went to find the stone me and my brother bought for our dad who is sadly no longer with us. Went in the ground and got something to eat and a beer (bit of a wait for food but expected). Easy enough to get to my seat. Left after 85 mins same as I did at Goodison and 15 mins later back at the car and away
