We wouldn't have the ground without him, as difficult as it is to accept.

He got so much wrong - although Ukraine was the one thing (far more than PSR*) that was completely out of his hands and did the most to damage us.

It was a close run thing but we got through it.

(*Understanding more about it now we could have player traded our way out of trouble with some cash in the business)

How can you tell if someone is a Kopite? If the hat, scarf, T shirt or tattoo isn't enough of a clue, they will have told you within two sentences. Basically, it's a cult.

At best he was money laundering or sports washing. He’s put no money in and nearly run the club in to the ground. He tried to sell us to a group of crooks who went bust and only the premier league delaying a decision saved us from catastrophe.

He didn't intentionally run the club Into the ground. I've heard it said he lost about 400m quid over his time. He was incompetent rather than malicious.
