Any of you boffins heard of private car parks, factories near the ground opening their gates etc? Like the Gala Bingo did in Kirkdale type thing

I parked in Langtry where some free spaces on the estate where I've always parked. 30 minute walk.

One opened up the corner of stanley rd/commercial rd on the old wasteland next to the railway. Theres an exit gate onto the greenspace which leads you onto the sandhills canal bridge. £20 a car.

Why is there no mention of using Bankhall as an alternative station as well. If it’s I only a 20 minute walk from there

I would be amazed if there's not loads of makeshift car parks further up the dock road and regent road towards bootle.

There will be people renting any sort of land / space from businesses for a set fee and then organising/policing the actual parking side of it themselves.

Still no good for anyone who can't walk any distance or want free parking like.

It'll take a few games before everyone finds their own routine.

I'm lucky in that anytime I do drive, which will only be a handful of games a season anyway, I know someone who lives on the eldonian and they've already said I can park up their drive.

There's a huge car park on Pall Mall just off Leeds Street called Microsafe Security Car Park which has been used by office workers for years, I would be amazed if they weren't planning to open as they will make a fortune being one of the biggest car parks to the new stadium, I haven't parked there for a while but there's a review on the internet saying it was £3.50 a day a few months ago, far cheaper and closer than anything in town.....

Pall Mall has a few. I reckon that’s as close as you are getting.

There is an ncp at the Chinese place nearby Tai Pan on great Howard street. I reckon other places will pop up as we go

I'm looking at that for tomorrow, but I also parked at Liverpool One for the last test event and it was just over 30mins to the stadium - absolutely fine if it's belting weather like tomorrow...
