Just seen a link from them advertising this service, for all games, even season tickets for it. £12 per game full price, £8 seniors and juniors.

Best they could do is offer cheap ale I reckon (ie and then the coaches) but I doubt even that would work for any real amount of time sadly.

Quite a few boozers round the Vetch tried it and abandoned it just as quickly. Same with West Ham, from what I understand. New habits form pretty easily.

Unless you actually live in the area, it doesn't really make any sort of sense to go out of your way to go somewhere just to be taken somewhere else.

£12! Wow, won’t fans just use the pubs near Bramley Moore? Or have a pint in town and walk down? Doesn’t seem to make any sense to pay that.
Got to feel for the local business community around Goodison but the move was always going to be really hard them.

Because at Goodison the Winslow would start filling up during the game if we were losing badly

Yeah, i get it - these places are rightfully trying to keep their business going.

But lots of fans i know from clubs who have moved all say the same - this kind of thing carries on for a few weeks / months, but then new routines are slowly formed, new pubs and places open, and everyones moves on.

£12 is massively steep, considering the actual journey is probably less than one mile.

The drop off will probably be Boundary Street, over the Leeds/Libpewl canal bridge, just before Beers Timber and the Chinese Supermarket.

Ironically, right outside the former home of celebrated Everton Captain David Watson, who was born and bred in a maisonette there, and attended our school, 'Pope Pius the tenth' with his brother Alex.*
