Anyone had their company flagged?

Happened to me a few weeks ago . No explanations at first and bank just told me my company balance. Absolute nightmare,all funds frozen for 4 days. Merseyside fraud squad ended up calling and saying that because I dealt with Dubai we were flagged,also our website had some inaccurate info(dead links as it was getting updated)

My accountant told me to leave it but surely I can at least claim loss of income? I lost a costly contract in that time

Is it an ecommerce website?

I've got an Etsy shop and was thinking of branching out into a proper website.

How can you tell if someone is a Kopite? If the hat, scarf, T shirt or tattoo isn't enough of a clue, they will have told you within two sentences. Basically, it's a cult.

No it’s an education business. The accountant told me the bizzies can just freeze any account on suspicion and the likelihood of getting a result is like trying to find rocking horse shite. Fuming though as it hammered us in our busiest week. The irony is the bank involved invited us to their business of the year awards four days earlier. We are a small business and it could have sent us under

I can imagine. This thing I referred is a hobby I make a few quid off (3d printing Everton stuff) but I run a small business that me and my Mrs earn our wages from.

Had some horrible cash flow problems with people dragging their feet paying - it's hard enough without you effectively getting shut down for no reason by the authorities.

We had an account with a company that gives all our teachers worldwide bank cards we can top up when needed for meals, attractions etc..3 months to set up and they dropped us due to this,stating company policy.
