He is a super player but he is a definite luxury. He was with us in our disastrous last season in the Prem and he scored a couple of lovely goals, but he is not the player you want when you don’t really have any of the ball.

Feels like City are inflating the fee for an unproven kid based on the success of Palmer with clubs scared to miss out in case he becomes as good as him. I don't think anyone actually knows what his best position is, for £35m it's a swerve for me.

They've got a pretty good hit rate to be fair. Palmer, Morgan Rodgers, Lavia, Sancho, Delap, Adorobioyo, Harwood-Belis, I'm sure there are others.

If Forest sell Gibbs White he'll end up there most likely.

I'm not sure if he's right for us anyway, given he's not a wide player, although perhaps more of a Moyes type wide player of years gone by.

Exactly, he never liked playing naturally wide out and out wingers, as well as the 2 you mentioned he’d also play Osman out wide and even Mirallas who was probably the most wingery of Moyes regular wide players was more of a cut inside type.
