About to sign a new 4 year contract.
Lovely stuff.

Also he’s 66/1 to win the PL golden glove this season (bet365).
Decent each way bet in my humble opinion.

He's so criminally under rated across the board it's unbelievable.

I'll openly admit I wasn't his biggest fan during his first few seasons with us, but last 3 or 4 seasons, apart from the odd shaky start to a couple of seasons post international tournaments, he's been brilliant, and makes hardly any mistakes on top of his shot stopping, which has always been great.

I was away the other week with fans of Leeds, United, libpool, celtic and arsenal and they were all claiming he's average and couldn't believe it when I said I wouldn't swap him for any other keeper in the league.

I think it’s longer than 3/4 seasons. He was brilliant in the 2018 World Cup. Was it round about then he started seeing a sports psychologist and became much more consistent with far fewer rushes of blood to the head?

Agree with you about not swapping him for anyone.
Unlike the RS we don’t claim every player is der best in der werld. We’ve also had Southall so have high standards for keepers. If we think he’s brilliant he must be.

He is the only world class player we have.

Donarumma and Cortois (sp?) are ace, but I honestly wouldn't have any other PL keeper ahead of him.

And why none of the rich six have gone for him is staggering, particularly United, Arsenal, Spurs.

Usually you get a fraction of the odds if he finishes in the top 2/3/4….etc
