Why is there no Everton badge on the home shorts when there is on the away ones?

I prefer when EFC didn’t have a badge.
As Alan Ball once explained “ we don’t need a badge everyone knows who we are” or words to that effect.

The 2 jarg kids kits i've just bought appear to have badges on both home and away shorts the adult one doesn't have shorts.
£41.63 incl postage for the 2 new full kits for the little one and the new away one for me.
