Yeah mate, no necessarily the beach but the cliffs are. You can walk up from the beach and the meadows at the top can be really good.
It’s the only place in England that has breeding Black Guillemots. Fleswick Bay is a good spot for them. Around the corner from St Bees head itself. Had some amazing views of peregrines there as well. Always a chance of a passing dolphin or porpoise from the head as well.
Definitely worth a visit You can either book me now or wait for Cliff Thorburn. But if Cliff Thorburn goes AWOL you’re up slack alley.
