Who was the huge RB who was playing for us? Fast as fcuk, and goes forward at every opportuninty. Got chopped down by their LB near the end as he rampaged towards the by line.

Brilliant move, edge of their box. Superb quick interpassing. Ended up with Patterson sending their defender for an Echo, and from 12 yeards his shot found row Z in a terrace that only went to R.

Same applied to Tim, who cruised past 4 Accy players comfotably, before setting himself for the shot, which ended up where Pattersons effort finished.

Beto's first touch abysmal as usual.

Pissing down rain, and quite a strong wind didn't help the quality of footy. Main thing was no injuries to Everton players.

Result immaterial. A good 90 minutes under a few first team starters belts. A good turn out of Toffees as per. Beto's pen was either expertly taken, or it was very lucky not to hit the crossbar (i saw the replay of it at the end).

I didn’t even know we played until I came on here this morning.
I suppose that sums up my attitude to pre season games.

Cracking little ground, really like these kind of places.

Moyes looking incredibly pissed off as I stood very close to him for 10 minutes before I left. Doesn't fill me with confidence we have quality players coming in.

The right back we brought on, cannot be his usual position as he was all over the place and was at fault for his abysmal marking from the corner.

Alcaraz, very poor. Hopefully just a fitness thing and not a Terry Curran loan to permanent sign of things to come.

McNeill, still hasn't found that right foot. Winds me up how one footed a professional footballer in the top flight can be.

In short - an enjoyable evening.

We went inside the ground to a place called Coleys, it was joined onto their main stand.

Superb in there, loads of space to move and places to sit. Back in there again at half time.
Relatively cheap as well.

Was saying something like that is exactly what I want near BMD.

There is loads like that at BMD, you will just need to remortgage the house, sell one of your kids and one of your own kidneys on eBay to be able to afford it.

I've been to AFC Fylde and Harrogate Town in the last 6 months and all 3 grounds and their set ups are brilliant.

Tim Iroegbunam was by far the best player on that pitch. Used the ball really well and made a couple of good tackles.

Tremendous penalty by Beto. No keeper saves that.

Fair play to the lids and lidettes in that open terrace - right good soaking there.

End of the day it was a friendly against a bunch of binmen so the result isn't the be all and end all.

Only caught a similar amount and agree with all of that except the Beto bit, one beautiful spin away from a defender and granted, one miscontrol, but that was from a pass fired into him at an awkward angle, bit harsh there mate.

I think the Beto stuff is more the fact someone has made their mind up and won’t be swayed. It was probably the most comprehensive scoring of a penalty I’ve seen from an Everton player since Baines was taking them (before he let mirallas in)
