They may be cash rich, but they don't have the PSR headroom to spend whatever they like, unlike the cartel kings. Got to the table too late. They will get there at some stage, maybe after some ridding or slackening of the PSR limitations after they've been challenged in the courts somewhere down the line.

No official bid as Newcastle have said he's not for sale. however, it's slipped out through their media mates that they would be willing to pay up to £120m for him, because its the classy way to do things.

This has been hanging around for weeks, but my big worry is we are seemingly genuinely sniffing around Ekitike for big bucks, which I can only see means Isak is going, unless we get a Man City type commercial deal.

It would make no sense to sell him to them, and they'd need £150m.

We're in the process of offering him a new deal, but we can't get anywhere near £200k a week, let alone nearer 300. It's why Mbeumo was an instant no go as he wanted £200k. Isak is being offered something like £160k a week, which sadly seems at the low end for his ability.

The wages jump to the rich 6 is huge.

thing is for those top 6 clubs if they get a few mega bucks deals that go wrong they can end up going a bit man utd with players no one will take off you or who want to leave as theyre on 350k a week

He was in his first season, but last season he was run into the ground two thirds of the way through, because our back up striker was made of glass, and had a pulled tìt. Manage him properly and he'd easily get a decent full season.
