Hopefully being able to see the ball hit the back of the net.
I think I’ve probably seen one in the last 10 years due to the gobshites at the front of the upper Gwladys standing up when the ball goes anywhere near the goal.

The lack of running track is a good point because if we got the Commonwealth Games we would have had to incorporate a running track into the design which would have led to curved ends at either end of the stadium, remember all the gormless kopites made up that the city lost out on a massive event because they thought it meant no new ground for us the fucking dickheads?

Also, I read yesterday that the maximum gradient for stadia under UK law is 35 degrees and BMD is 34.99, Spurs's is 34 degrees.

I read that when the Manchester Commonwealth Games stadium was built, the athletics track and field was actually about 8-10 rows higher than the front row is now. So they lowered the rows so the front row then became adjacent to the pitch. From what I can remember, those rows were already in place below the trac and field.

Steep is only closer if there's less legroom though, otherwise you're higher up and therefore further away so it isn't necessarily a good thing if it's steep, it depends on the Maths

we were in the top balc for years and the top of the south stand is very similar, the photos taken inside the ground alter the perspective and make the pitch look a lot further away
