‘Everton owner The Friedkin Group took the decision not to spend in January — a deal for West Bromwich Albion’s Tom Fellows had been set up — in order to attack the summer market, but the arrivals of Barry and Alcaraz have only scratched the surface of the work that needs to be overseen.

Numerous names have been discussed, including the Flamengo right back Wesley, the Real Sociedad winger Takefusa Kubo and the midfielders Joao Palhinha, Douglas Luiz and John McGinn as efforts are made for further reinforcements for Moyes’s squad.’

I like the look of Fellows but he cant be the only RW we buy, him and another Kubo would be a good shout.

Not sure how I feel about McGinn, he's a good player but I thought that we were trying to move away from signing older guys with no resale value

If they don’t want to sell I’d hate us to get in to some stupid bidding war with ourselves over McGinn. He’s alright like.

My Villa mates absolutely fucking love him. I presumed we were getting him on a free and he was being released. He's not the type of player we should be spending money on in my opinion.

Wesley is the one we were supposed to be buying and loaning to Roma. Last I heard Roma were looking to buy him for £20m themselves.
