How can you tell if someone is a Kopite? If the hat, scarf, T shirt or tattoo isn't enough of a clue, they will have told you within two sentences. Basically, it's a cult.

Ground. They have about 4 different ones from different places and strengths. This one is really nice

I never go shopping as such in lidl so tend to stick to the tools etc.

Don't suppose you know if they sell coffee beans?

Ha, the coffee snobs are out. The Azera Americano intenso is decent, but they're on my banned list. Tried the lidl deluxe one next to it on the shelf, and it's shite. Which is a shame as their rip off stuff is normally good.

I don't drink enough to bother with a machine or cafetiere.

I'm drinking Aldis Specially Selected Columbian Ground coffee this week. It's rated 3 out of 5 in terms of strength and just right for me as I prefer it without milk so don't want it too strong.
Couple of tablespoons in the cafetierre enough for 2 mugs in the morning.

Aldi extra special number 4 is lovely. 100% Columbian arabica beans. Better than Costa or Starbucks.

Give us a pointer. I think I’ve tried their version of Gold Blend and it was dog dung. I like the purple L’Or stuff from the usual outlets. It’s instant but it’s got a bit of bite. I’m not fucking around with grinders and stuff but if anyone has some instant coffee faves I’m listening

Although not exactly instant coffee, I tried those new ( new to me anyway) ground coffee bags. It's like using a cafeterie, but instead of brewing the coffee in one, it brews in the bag like making a cup of tea. Just put it in for a few minutes and then take it out and you are done. It wasn't to bad. I finished them all anyway. These are the ones I bought;

I then bought some Taylors of Harrogate ones, although I didn't think they were as nice.

Not sure if they have an inside ant version.
Get yourself a cafetierre, just as easy as instant.
