1. First half felt like Groundhog Day - shapeless, N'Diaye the only one looking to play football and comedy defending from a corner. Felt like a genuine watershed moment, the other way, for Dyche...
2. Lindstrom's just not ready, is he? His body language towards the end of the first half was horrible after he gave the ball away: head down and clearly really down with himself - a mercy to take him off more than anything and credit
3. McNeill. Two absolute crackers for a fella who seems to get dog's abuse if he goes half an hour without scoring. The beautiful side-foot for the first will rightly get a lot of praise, but the flick for the second was sublime.
4. Mangala's working hard, but needs to pay more attention to Gueye and his use of the ball in tight spaces. Gueye gets stick for getting old, basically, but he's still by far the model for close control under pressure for the younger players at the club.
5. Great to see Branthwaite back - Jagielka-esque in combining pace and reading of the game to snuff out attacks.
