They were around slightly earlier than your Nirvana's et al. But also at the same time.
Took their influences from earlier garage rock bands. MC5 and 15th Floor Elevators and suchlike.
Definitely going for the nostalgia. It's going to be a proper sausage fest. Middle aged men within pint in one hand and their other hand in their pocket sell consciously head nodding.
Their song 'Good enough' was one of the first I learnt to play on an electric guitar. Where o learnt the secret that a distortion switch and 5ths are really useful to disguise your inability to play.
