theyve been doing it for decades though. look at how many players pass through and move on (usually for a decent fee as its the media darlings doing the selling).
theyve never been shy of throwing money at players (usually multiples per position - especially under FSW) and hoping one sticks.
thats ok though because they have "earned it" apparently.
saw on ToffeeTV the other week they were saying that the RS wage bill is twice our turnover, yet we are supposed to be on a level playing field. except you get 10 points docked if you try and match their spending.
