Given that Cambiasso's goal, after 'just' 25 passes, has been voted one of FIFA's most iconic World Cup moments, then Goal of the Month has got a time problem on its hands. There's no way it can't feature in next month's comp, but in order to do so, they'll have to show the whole sequence which lasts well over a minute - like Cambiasso's goal is always shown in its entirety - otherwise what's the point?
If that goal had been scored by any of the Money Seven we wouldn't have heard the end of it today. Dunno about anyone else but I've barely heard anyone mention it.
Pretty sure every player touched it?
