I find this bit of reporting a bit irresponsible. Bound to get people’s minds running wild, then someone will pick a name and Twitter will go with it. Name them or don’t, but don’t leave a trail of breadcrumbs that could lead to the wrong person. Does it mean they were a powerful manager in the 90s? Or are powerful now but we’re playing in the 90s when they did whatever was done?
Sheff Utd have agreed to an independent Enquiry around the ladies team, linked to what happened with Maddy Cusack, the player who took her own life. Appears (according to the family) that she didn’t have a history of mental health issues and the decline was related to the team. The manager was suspended a couple of months ago, which on the face of it looks like it could be connected, but that is supposition as the two haven’t been formally linked.
