yes, and it t urns out it wasnt 5% it was 15%.
Croydon is in the top 3 Council tax rates in London and if you had seen the state of the place at the moment you would understand the local outrage. The grass that they are responsible for is about knee high, the streets are a fecking mess, the rubbish collection has been scaled back so much that its a regular occurrence to see overflowing bins everywhere (both on the high street and private residences). They are closing what semblance of services had managed to struggle through the last 10 years.
