We've just endured two seasons of abject misery with pretty much no new money spent and have finally looked like we were getting back to some sort of even keel - at least on the pitch.
The PL's reaction to that is to throw us right into a relegation fight and potentially open us up to financial ruin, as well as further litigation from other clubs. Seems a wholly proportionate and fair punishment doesn't it? Never mind the dozens of people employed by Everton that stand to lose their livelihoods if we do go down when the club have to cut their cloth without TV money. It's an absolute disgrace this.
Still, "can't punish the fans and players" of those six ESL clubs can we? I'm pretty much done with it all to be honest. The game is rancid.
