How much control do players have in the follow through there? He's absolutely twatted the ball first - not like he's grazed it. Determined to get the ball and wellying it clear is always going to see follow through. The still of it looks horrendous, but they always do. Not disputing it's a red under the rules on excessive force, but we're essentially getting to the point where any determined effort to get the ball is risking a red card with follow through.
