Kean, Richarlison and DCL. Three big lads up front who will be a handful and ( hopefully now in Keans case) all can score regularly.
Bernard coming off the wing and playing between the lines. We have missed that since Pienaar and Osman. The challenge is for him to do that more often and away from home.
Kenny will hopefully come back and solve the right back problem. And it is a problem now. Sidibe is powerful and can put in a decent cross but he gets sucked out of position so often leaving us exposed. Coleman just doesn’t have it long term- I reckon Ancelotti knows this and this is playing a part in him playing the two of them at the same time.
Another load of dross will be off the wage bill in the summer. A few players are being given enough rope to hang themselves with and he is seeing it first hand. Don’t be annoyed at him praising the players after the game and saying it’s just one of those things- he knows he is stuck with them until the summer and is playing the long game. There’s no point in him saying they’re shite because they’ll phone it in like they did last time.
