I got briefly very good at this in my late 20s and 30s. I would be brilliant at it now, were I not so old and unpleasant to look at.

My son finds attracting women annoyingly easy. He is very good looking, tall and athletic and naturally a smiley person*, and this seems to be enough for him. He was at a concert in Heaton Park recently and a girl who had been dancing in front of him and sharing the occasional smile, at one point, without even talking to him, turned round and handed him her phone with the “add new contact” screen open. I was unusually annoyed at the ease of this for him.

*before anyone says anything, yes, he takes after his mum!!!
