The writer of that article is either a massive RS/Utd fan or a hopelessly naive devotee of the rule of law over everything else (or both).

They make no reference to the fact that City's previously aggressive approach to the UEFA case ultimately ended up with them suffering no real terms sanctions at all, or the fact that at these levels bottomless pockets of money and politics usually trumps everything else.

City's lawyers have acted perfectly in their advice to the club, defend everything with the highest of vigour, admit to nothing and offer no conciliation, because even if all that fails, financial and political pressure can be applied elsewhere to make it all disappear anyway, and in future they all will end up regretting the day they tried to fhuck with you.
