The shite didn't win the league for 30 years, I think they went through a spell of one league cup in a 12 year span in that time too. City have if you take out the charity Shields/super cup one offs have eclipsed the shite and Utd in the respective golden eras for trophies, Arsenal well in the dust. An if they hadn't have been hacked it'd have carried on, it still might. This is more than breaking a monopoly.
But as I say the weird kinship you allude to didn't matter when they all wanted to fuck off the super league with City.
