After the 95 cup final we were all drinking in the Meadows on the Sunday night. Everton songs, flags, having a great time.

Joe lived round the corner from my mate so a load of us thought it would be a great idea to turn up at his house and serenade him.

He came out, thanked us, but said the family were trying to sleep 😴

Met him walking along the canal by the hare & hounds a few years later and had a good chat.
