Cycled up my local mountain (Hiraodai) last night, as much to see the Milky Way as the Perseid. Usually there's no one up there at night, but yesterday there were loads of people coming and going, which ruined it. Dickheads with massive torches / headlamps and people screaming every time they saw a meteor.
Hopefully the weather will be decent again later in the week and I can get down to Kuju for some proper dark skies and no people.
