Depends if you want to stick to a certain area or if happy to walk a bit.

Ancoats is good, Edinburgh Castle in particular is a good boozer. Not too far in the NQ is the Millstone, bit like the Blob shop.

The crown and Kettle. The old Wellington, Nags head and Mother Macs worth checking out too.
