100% she would be. Me and my Mrs are degreed up to fuck and it took a few years of her coming around to ditching the uni route but it's such an obvious call now. If you want to pursue education or work into something bigger than a trade you're still best off to qualify and work as a plumber and then have a day off a week to do a degree than you are to just go to uni for 3 years.
