Thankyou all. He's got a vague plan to be a marine electrician which would be ideal as well sought after. You can be self employed with a van and tool kit and be posted around the world. He love surfing, saved up for his own rhib from his summer jobs (although I spent more myself on parts). You can't really come out of school and get intoarine electrician though so he's joined Princess Yachts for 4 years and will be free to do what he wants to do with 3 years of work experience behind him when he's 20. And he's getting paid too which is amazing for him really.
