Looks as though he's highly regarded in the game, Dortmund or some other german team were sniffing round him when he was about 17 before he broke through here weren't they. There were glimpses of his promise here, the away derby when he was running them ragged but couldn't get a decision as he was mowed down time after time. Think that's his main problem, think if just focused on going past his opponent every time rather than looking to hit the deck he'd have put himself in far more promising positions to hone his goalscoring technique, which at the moment is patchy at best. That side of his game was deffo racheted up several notches (the making the most of any contact) at Newcastle and maybe Barca can coach it our of him to concentrate on trying to score instead.
