The joke's on us.
Had people genuinely forgotten the way he acted? It's the only explanation for the big Moyes love-in that seemed to infest about 50% of blues when he came back.
When Kendall came back people were thinking "great, we might win some trophies again".
What were people thinking when Moyes came back?
"Great, another decade of perma-7th and shitting out of all the cups"?
