This is all correct.
Unfortunately, a club sometimes gets a name, reputation, call it what you will for things that aren’t true.
I was speaking to a RS a few weeks ago, and he said we should be happy within season as we’ve been fighting relegation for thirty years.
I pointed out that we’d finished above them three, I think, times in that period, and had something like eight consecutive top 8 finishes under Moyes last time.
No great achievement, obviously, but it’s hardly fighting relegation either.
